How to install Redirect

Here is how to install Redirect, the Chrome extension that sends distracting sites to your goals. It takes about a minute. Open the Chrome Web Store and search for Redirect, or go to heyredirect.com and click Add to Chrome. On the Redirect page, click Add to Chrome, then Add extension to confirm. Click the puzzle icon in your toolbar and pin Redirect, so it is always one click away. Now open Redirect. Pick a site from Recommended, like YouTube, or type any site you want to block. That is it. The next time you open YouTube, Redirect sends you to your Focus page, with your goals instead. You can still take a break. Just finish a short task first, like typing a paragraph.
