Block distracting sites. Land on your goals.
Redirect sends YouTube, Reddit, Instagram and any site you pick straight to your goals. Need a break? You can have one, it just takes a little effort.
Redirecting.
Blockers show you a wall, and you find a way around it. Redirect quietly sends you somewhere better: the goals you wrote down.
Type a site in the browser to see what happens.

Each rule decides what a pause costs. Type a passage exactly, explain why, solve a few sums, breathe slowly or wait a minute. Most of the time, you will not bother.
Playing through each one. Click any card, or start typing, to try it yourself.
Pause over? It catches you mid scroll.
A small timer floats on the page while you are paused. When it hits zero you are redirected, even inside YouTube, without a reload.

Site icons load from Google's favicon service, which sees the domains in your rules.
Questions, answered.
How much does Redirect cost?
Redirect is free for one site of your choice, with every feature included. To block as many sites as you like, upgrade to Pro for $8 a month or pay $29 once for Lifetime. No account is needed for the free plan.
How is Redirect different from a normal site blocker?
Most blockers show you a wall and leave you staring at it. Redirect sends you somewhere useful instead: your Focus dashboard with your goals and stats, or any page you choose, like your to-do list or a course.
Does it work on YouTube Shorts, Reddit and other single page apps?
Yes. Sites like YouTube and Reddit change pages without reloading, which lets many blockers miss them. Redirect checks every in-app navigation, so opening Shorts from the YouTube home page is caught too. You can block a whole site or just a path, like youtube.com/shorts.
Can I still use a blocked site sometimes?
Yes, with a pause. Each rule has its own pause lengths and its own task you must finish first: type a passage exactly, write down a reason, solve a few math problems, follow a breathing exercise, wait 60 seconds, or no task at all. You can also cap how many pauses a rule allows per day.
What happens when a pause ends?
Any open tab on that site is redirected right away, even if you are halfway down a feed. A small floating timer shows how much of your pause is left while you are on the site.
Can I block sites only during work hours?
Yes. Each rule can run on a schedule, for example weekdays from 09:00 to 18:00. You can also add exceptions, like one YouTube channel you study with, that always stay open.
Can I just switch it off when I get tempted?
You can, but it takes effort on purpose. Turning off all redirects requires typing a long paragraph exactly, and turning off, deleting or loosening an active rule requires that rule’s task. Turning protection back on is instant.
Is my data private?
Your rules, goals, stats and pause reasons are stored only in your browser. There is no account, no analytics and nothing is sent to our servers. Site icons in the extension load from Google’s public favicon service, which sees the domains of your rules.
Can I back up my rules or move them to another computer?
Yes. Export all rules, passages and settings to a JSON file, then import it anywhere. When importing you choose to add only new rules, add and update matching ones, or replace everything.
Close the tab. Open your goals.
Install Redirect in ten seconds. Your future self already said thanks.
